Professional Registration Examination

The Professional Registration Examination is held twice annually.

Pharmacy graduates from an Irish academic institution must have successfully completed the National Pharmacy Internship Programme in order to be eligible to apply to sit the Examination.  

Candidates who successfully complete this Examination are eligible to apply for registration with the PSI and to practise as pharmacists.


First Sitting of Professional Registration Examination for 2010

The first sitting of the Professional Registration Examination for 2010 will be held on Thursday, 20 May 2010 in a Dublin venue.

Eligible candidates are invited to apply to sit the Professional Registration Examination. All eligible candidates who wish to apply to sit the Professional Registration Examination must complete and return the examination application form.

The closing date for receipt of application is Friday, 7 May 2010.
