Letter from the HSE concerning swine flu vaccination for pharmacy sector workers

The PSI encourages all pharmacists and pharmacy staff to avail of the vaccine in the interest of protecting public health. Pharmacists and pharmacy staff are encouraged to contact their own GPs in the first instance, to see if they are participating in the vaccination programme. Otherwise, they should contact their local HSE clinic. Further info is available on www.swineflu.ie.
As essential frontline healthcare workers, it is important that pharmacists and pharmacy staff protect their own health as well as that of their patients, colleagues and families. Your continued assistance in this important matter is greatly appreciated.
