Recognition of Third Country Pharmacist Qualification as a Qualification Appropriate for Practice in Ireland

Please note that Part 4 of the Pharmacy Act 2007 has now been commenced by the Minister for Health and Children. Following on from this commencement, the PSI wishes to inform you that the new process for Third Country Qualification Recognition is now operational.

The following forms must be completed by all applicants for this route of registration:

 

NOTICE RE THIRD COUNTRY QUALIFICATION RECOGNITION (TCQR) EQUIVALENCE EXAMINATION (STAGE 2 OF THE TCQR PROCESS)

The next date for the Equivalence Examination is scheduled for Tuesday, 7th September 2010.  

Eligible applicants who receive a Confirmation of Eligibility letter may only apply for this examination.  

Applicants that wish to be considered for the exam on the 7th September 2010 must have submitted their applications under the Third Country Qualification Recognition process no later than Friday, 18th June 2010 AND such applications must be complete and valid (i.e. all required documentation received and deemed in order) no later than Friday, 25th June 2010*.  

*Applications that are not complete by this date will not be considered eligible for the Equivalence Examination on 7th September 2010.  Only eligible applicants will be issued with the relevant examination application forms etc. when they are issued their Confirmation of Eligibility letters.
